Two weeks and things are looking good!

Two weeks back using the food tracker an I am down 6 lbs. Even after spending most of the week eating hospital food - and one day quite literally my dinner was a bag of baked chips and diet soda (since the cafeteria was closed). But note... I chose the baked chips versus the others!

I believe I am going to be successful this time for a number of reasons, primarily I am not on a diet... I am tracking my food - eating what I want but watching the portions. Also, I am not setting out to make this a quick race - If I lose between 1 - 3 lbs a week I will be happy as long as the scale steadily makes it way down. So many times in the past I would lose large amounts of weight, starving myself only to rebound back up again.

    You can and will do it. You have had a great start and now have momentum. If you stick to you plan and then adjust as you learn more about your bodys reaction and from this site you can keep it up. Make sure cardio and strength training are part of your plan. Good luck!
