Since mid August my life has been one crazy day after another. We had a flood from a tiny leak in the ice maker/water hose (check your''d be amazed how much water can leak overnight). From cleanup to boxup led into soccer, school, concessions, Teal Steel (my daughter is in a steel drum band at school)...this is from last year's group....
m/watch?v=FI22NnjcfZ4. They play 60+ gigs a year and since it is an after school program the parents must get the kids to the gigs. Add these up, add 40+ hours of work to the mix = NO TIME FOR ME. Well soccer is winding down, my son has started to drive and we've gotten my old car back on the road = NO EXCUSES STARTING NEXT WEEK. One of my oldest/dearest friends approached me last weekend and asked me to think carefully and decide if I would be "in" on her challenge. Based on Kelsey Byers Challenge for eating clean and working out she wants to make a goal for the rest of 2012 to push for fitness and weight loss. She has successfully lost 30 punds by hitting the gym but has become frusterated with her plateau. I think she is suffering the same fate that LisainMS did and messed her metabolism up by not feeding it while working out so much.

After finishing up our corn hole board/bean bags we are donating for the Lion's Club Hoe Down tomorrow night...I will be free to take some time for me and plan some meals and work outs...they built a new building on our plant and moved the gym into friend will also be able to attend.

We still need to put down new tile in the kitchen, laminate in the basement and DS bedroom, and laminate in the living room, we finally got the material on Monday. So, still lots to do, but I plan on replacing time spent at DD soccer for time with someone equally I have to say I've been proud that I have not fallen off the wagon, many nights too busy to eat dinner let alone snack..but I miss my workout time.

This is my favorite time of reason we got married in October -5 years ago tomorrow...He still makes me weak in the knees when he smiles at me!!

Happy anniversary! So sweet, glad you're not too busy to enjoy being "weak in the knees"! Do what you can, when you can. Even a few daily 10-minute bursts add up emoticon emoticon
