Okay, so my 30 continuous days of blogging was a little tough to keep up with while I was out of town, and although I did bring my smart phone with me, and was able to log onto the SP website to get my login points -- I decided I could postpone the blogging until I got back.
So, I'm back! I was out of town looking for a new place to live for a few days -- gearing up for my move. It's a real pain to pack up a whole house, and condense it into a small apartment. But I keep telling myself it is temporary, until I get settled in the city and with the new job, and then I will be ready to buy a new house. A lot has to fall into place in the meantime, so I'm keeping busy. Getting quite excited about my new job and new city. Change is scary but also sort of an adventure!
My nutrition choices were definitely not as good as could be -- but I'm not beating myself up for it, and am back to my healthy-lifestyle choices again. I did manage to get a least a little bit of exercise (two days of walking up and down stairs, and basically walking all day looking at places) yesterday, but not my usual level of exercise exertion. I got back to town late last night, and this morning I was too worn out and just felt like sleeping in -- eek! So maybe later today I'll fit some activity into the daily routine.
My upcoming weekly "ME-day" (aka, weigh-in day) is tomorrow. Hrm. At the beginning of the week I was feeling like it was going to be another successful loss this week, not sure now after some not-as-healthy- eating -- but drinking a lot of water and getting my fruits and veggies in for the day. Tonight is my make-up night for the couch to 5k program -- which I JUST started earlier this week without thinking that I would be out of town and missing my 2nd day of the program. I'm on week 1: and tonight will be day 2 of 3 workouts for the first week. Too bad you don't burn more calories with it though! That's why I like to go hiking so often!
Okay, working on planning a healthy weekend. Hiking on Saturday and Sunday morning. C25k program tonight (Friday). Got stocked up on salad stuff and some healthy lean meat options for meals on Sat-Sun. Fish and veggies for Sunday night. YUM.
Okay just 9 days left of my 30 day accountability blog and tracking challenge! Plus I'm slowly working my way through The Spark chapters. Good stuff!
