Last night I decided to dust off my copy of The Spark and oh was I suprised when I found my old goals inside!!!! In early 2010 I joined Sparkpeople, read the book and had lost about 16 pounds when I was called to work out of town. I came home three months later and never really got back on track. Since then I've had a baby, and been prescribed Blood Pressure AND Cholesterol medication. My husband was really the one who decided to diet this time. We have a 12 year old daughter and almost 9 month old son to keep up with now. He has lost A LOT more weight then me but he inspires me every day. I am determined to get to a healthy weight and fitness level so that HOPEFULLY I can stop taking all this medication.
My old goals included:
being 152 lbs by my 35th birthday... (I'm now 37)
buying "regular" clothes instead of plus size
and then another one too personal to repeat.
These are still awesome goals I plan to see through. I may be a little older but I am no heavier so that has to count for something:)
As of today I am 15 pounds lighter than when I started dieting and exercising earlier this year. Lets see if I can make it to my goals by 38:)
