My tastebuds are beyond happy

The picture doesn't do it justice, but I just made "ice cream" using frozen bananas, peanut butter and cocoa powder. I've seen some recipes around the internet and pinterest, and I finally tried it. It's SO yummy, and I'm glad I finally found something HEALTHY to make when I'm having my crazy ice cream cravings. This is how I made mine:

1 cup frozen banana slices (probably the equivalent of 1 large banana)
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon sugar (I had to give mine a little bit of sweetness)

First, let banana slices thaw for 10 minutes. Then blend everything in a blender (or food processor) until smooth. You can either eat it right away (it will be soft serve consistency) or you can pop it in the freezer so that it's more like hard ice cream. (I ate mine right away. I couldn't wait any longer.)

Note: if you're impatient like me and don't want to wait 10 minutes for your bananas to thaw, add a splash of milk to get things moving along better in the blender.

So very yummy.
