Motivation Found?? - Maybe Not

For 2 days in a row, I have worked out (walk/jog) for 30 minutes after work. Not a huge accomplishment, but I have been struggling to get myself to exercise for over a month.

The trick for me is to NOT sit down once I get home. If I sit, then I will not get back up to be productive. As soon as I get home, I change and then am out the door. If I time it right, I can be back from my walk before my hubby even gets home.

It feels good to know I was productive, and I don't feel guilty about lounging the rest of the evening. I think I should start to use TV as a a reward for exercising. If I don't work out - I don't get to watch TV. The thing is, I know I will watch TV anyway, but maybe this will help me budget my time between something I HAVE to do (work out) and something I WANT to do (watch TV).

Who knows, but I hope this 2 day streak keeps going.

I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend and looking for something active to do with my extra day off.
