My knee is feeling SO MUCH better. Of course, I haven't really done any exercising for the last 3 days, so this could prove to be a false sense of security, but I'd like to believe that I will be miraculously healed, without having to sacrifice more. *crosses fingers*
It was SO HARD to not be exercising. I mean, yeah, it was nice to relax, but for the last 6 weeks, my waking was my relaxation. So, to be walking around at work, having pain and then going home and trying to rest my knee, that sucked. I was going a bit stir crazy. I think I read like, 4 books. No fooling.
I also over ate a bit. I started to go a guilt trippy, but you know, it's hard to remember that it isn't what we do one day, but what we do all week that matters. And I still lost 1 lb this week! I was shocked. Now is the time to get back on the exercise horse, slowly, and get back on track and receover my losses from eating poorly. I can do it.
Starting with tonight. I'm heading to the gym for some elliptical work tonight. I'm going to see how it goes, and I'm wrapping the bottom of my knee with an Ace Bandage. Hopefully that will help with support. Tomorrow I'm going hiking, which I've been looking forward to for like, 3 weeks. Can't over do it tonight if I want to enjoy tomorrow!!!
