Busy Weekend

I have such a busy weekend coming up, that I've been thinking about how to stay on track with my eating. Tonight I'm meeting a friend and his wife to see their son in a play. We were going to meet for a Happy Hour before, but I'm really trying to stay away from alcohol (I tend to make really bad choices when I'm drinking alcohol). In order to handle this, I'm going home and eating dinner, and meeting them at the play.

On Saturday, I have a horse show. I really don't like the food they have at the food booth, so I"m planning on packing my food so that I won't be stuck with a hamburger or hot dog for lunch.

Sunday will be kayaking, so I'll get my exercise in too.

Planning ahead makes such a huge difference, doesn't it? I am finding that there are many times now when I'm in a position where it would be easy to eat the hot dog or over do it at happy hour, but I'd really rather have my own snacks at the ready... That, in and of itself, is a huge triumph for me :D I never regret making time to prepare them, and almost always regret Not taking the the time. Congrats on knowing what you need and putting in the effort to get it!
