Today is Day 40 since I decided that I was going to be serious about using SP and I feel great so far. Recently I have been struggling to reach my calorie goals but I haven't changed what I eat so I'm a little confused. Is the tracker wrong or do I need to eat more?
I am currently in Week 4 on Day 3 of the 28 day Boot Camp Challenge and have not skipped even one day this whole time. I have increased the amount of times that I do each video to 3 times each day to get the most benefit from the strength training. For my cardio I either take a walk or a walk/run for 2.33+ miles and am looking to increase my intervals as I get stronger. Right now my intervals are set at 1 minute for walking and 2 minutes for running and I do feel like I am getting stronger in my ability to complete the 2 minute cycles. In the next week or so I would like to increase that to 2.5 minutes and then up to 3 minutes as I feel I am ready. My goal is to be able to run the majority of a 5k for the Trick or Trot Challenge at the end of this month with as little walking as possible.
I have been thinking about what I will move on to next week when I am no longer doing the 28 day challenge and so far I'm not interested in the other Challenges here on SP. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could do?
This week I was down only .4 pounds from last week, which isn't much but as long as it is heading in the right direction I'm ok with it. I am losing weight slower than I did at this same time last year and I can't figure out what I am doing different. I drink a lot of water everyday and am pretty active even at my sedentary job as I make several trips up and down the stairs or to the copier up front instead of using the one by my desk. I need to do my measurements so that I can see if everything I am doing is making a difference in my size even if my weight isn't reflecting it. As long as I continue down this path I know that I will reach my goals and feel great no matter what but I would like a way to track it.
