Day Eleven was not too bad. There were good parts and bad parts, but I managed to get through it just fine. I made my calorie goals, but still haven't gotten any exercise in. Why is it so hard just to get started? I think I am partly frustrated because I know I'm going to have a few down days when I have my knee surgery on the 16th. That does make me pretty grouchy.
I am hoping that after that, I will be more motivated. I have a lot of personal issues going on in my life right now, and that makes it more difficult to stay motivated. I suppose though, that personal issues are not ever going to go away... I think everyone has something going on. I do have some major stressors though, so I'm going to work on cutting out as much stress as I can. I'm going to try to adopt a more relaxed point of view. Maybe that will help. I am starting to get a glimpse of how much my life was centered around food and I feel a little overwhelmed about the re-focusing. Wow.
Food followers, here's how the day went down. I overslept and had to rush out the door without breakfast, but had some nutty trail mix and a diet Mt. Dew during my class (not the breakfast of champions for sure, but the nuts really held me over until lunch tiime.) At lunch I went to Frisch's with my friend and I had a grilled chicken breast, with a side of cottage cheese and a side of applesauce and two glasses of water. At supper, it was just me and my daughter last night. I had a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup (1 cup) and a ham and cheese pannini made with 2 oz of ham, 1 slice of bread and .7 oz of cheese. It was pretty yummy! I had some Unreal 54 Candy for a snack later in the evening. I didn't get hungry after lunch time until about 6 p.m., so pack in that protein!
