Deep thoughts on Thanksgiving weekend in Canada!

Friday, October 05, 2012

Words spoken from a ""Gramma"" before the big day-
---I will not eat the whole Pumpkin pie!
---Eating veggies and no gravy will not hurt me-
---Having 17 people for dinner is only for one day-
---I shall enjoy the day--smile---not fall over from exhaustion----

Lordy Be!-We have a long weekend--and with that, a Herd of Family coming for dinner on Sunday-They are each bringing a dish of something, so it will help me-Himself and I are cooking the turkey and the pies-

Albert Einstein said, " When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute---and it's longer than an hour. That's relativity.

emoticon Thinking of you and your entire great Nation to the North, with gratitude! I love having Canadian friends, and for that matter friends around the globe. Knowing that when "Columbus Day" comes up on my calendar, it is Thanksgiving for you all makes me smile.

Have a blessed weekend with your family, and take good care of YOU! emoticon
