Day 29 - Big Progress!

I'm sorry that I have been MIA for the last several days, I didn't have the internet at my house. Trust me, I missed sparkpeople! Anyways, yesterday was my 4th Weigh in and I am down to 205.8! That's 12 pounds in total since Sept. 5th, that's awesome! I have never stuck it out this long to actually see the changes on the scale. I have noticed some other major changes resulting from weight loss. If you have seen my pictures, you will see a pair of size 12 jeans that I had pegged as a goal to work toward. Well yesterday I had this feeling that I should try them on to see how far away I am from being able to wear them without a muffin top. To my surprise, I zipped and buttoned them up with ease, and NO muffin top! I wore them yesterday for probably the first time in a year. I am so happy. They are still a bit snug, and I feel like my bottom is always falling out because they are so low rise that any movement results in pulling them up higher. I can't wait until they fit perfectly and then actually become too big! I also can feel my figure coming in! I love putting my hands on my waist (natural waist that is) because I can feel how it is slimmer than my hips and that I have nice curves. I used to always feel like I didn't have a shape, unless square or linebacker counted.

Good stuff, but now I need to get back to tracking and working out regularly. Tracking is easy (when the internet is accessible or even without it), but finding the time and energy to go to the gym is a struggle. School has made me really busy. I did go once this week, so I won't beat myself up too hard about it. Something is better than nothing!

    12 lbs in one month is awesome! It is tough to keep motivated and to make the time to workout but with the kind of progress you've already had, thats a wonderful motivator!
