I was reading someone else's Blog and was waxing so poetical about food , I figured I should publish it here too.. With the Holidays coming on, I need to make lower calorie and healthier versions of my recipes. To quote myself...
"I have found that bringing lower calorie versions of my favorite things, does not upset the family and I can eat the safer versions. Like I make mashed sweet potato with just broth and NO BUTTER. ( I know I love it but 100 calories a Tablespoon.!!!!! ) Just check out a Chef Meg version of pumpkin pie etc. THey will like the taste so much.... they will want you to bring it all the time. BUT I have not had much luck cooking with Stevia... it seems to make it look wrong.
Anyone have any luck with it.??? "
