Leopard print shoes/flats

Thursday, October 04, 2012

Feeling much better today - the clogged up ear cleared up & while still having some sinus problems, nothing as bad as it could have been. I'm grateful.

SO I go to work this morning, knowing I'll only be there a 1/2 day as I'm working extra on the weekend this week. SOOOO, work was fine - then I head out. Now don't get too jealous, but I had to take my car for the 20,000 check up! (I KNOW, my life is out of hand - LOL) The guy at the car dealer service area was an ordinary looking guy -nice enough. He gets my info & I go wait in the service waiting area - when the car was done, he came in to find me & walks in & says my name & as we're walking out, he said I knew I'd be able to find you - your leopard print shoes were memorable! Hmmm - didn't know how to take that!

Giggles all around I imagine. So here's hoping your odd day experience was as amusing as mine!

Oh yes. When you're told something about you is memorable, it is your choice to define it as you'd prefer.

"Memorable" can translate to "he digs my shoes."

I had someone tell me he remembered my hair. To be fair, my hair 'designer' (sounds pretentious when I say it, but when she calls herself that, it's okay) got a little creative with me a few years ago, and I was okay with it. But that my cut was "memorable" to him was...well...a compliment to my 'designer.'
