Somedays you are the kicker somedays you are the ball

Thursday, October 04, 2012

Feeling like the ball today - had a bad weigh in this morning, followed by bad traffic on the way to work, my ice pack got a hole in it which got my leg all wet. Ate too much at lunch. Then hubby had a job interview that went bad which was followed up by a phone call letting me know that someone who I think is a waste of human space is pregnant (I can't have kids which I usually am accepting of but today knowing that this girl is pregnant it bothers me).

Yep on the verge of tears and so ready for this day to be over.

I totally understand, I've struggled with wanting desperately to have another baby (my son is 15 years old and was 3 month premature, he is a walking miracle) and everywhere I look people who don't want or don't deserve to have babies are pregnant. It sucks. But, we have to be grateful for what we do have. My fabulous husband does not regret marrying me even though it means no children together.
He was wonderful and supportive through the miscarriages and the tests and the decision to stop trying. God always answers prayers, but sometimes the answer is no. For me, accepting that was hard. But I am learning to be happy again. And I am on my way to being healthy.

There are going to be hard, tough days, but you will get through them. God will give you strength and peace. And its really ok if you need to vent or cry once in a while.

Be kind to yourself, emoticon and your other friend is right, its ok to be the ball and bounce back! emoticon
