Small Steps

On the positive side, I've done at least 16 mins of exercise every day this week! Eating healthier had been fairly easy until yesterday - good snacks are kept nearby, and a measuring cup allowing myself to only have 1 cup of something not so healthy like the stroganoff.

Yesterday, work had a lunch cook-out. At first, I was proud of myself for skipping the bun/mayo, but did question could I have done without the bun-less hot dog, and small bag of chips. But the longer we sat there after my initial food was gone, I ended up with another burger patty, and small bag of chips. : ( For dinner, it was yet another burger patty brought home, a cup of leftover chicken salad (mostly lettuce/tomatoes), baby carrots, and string cheese with grapes as late night snack.

Yes, an improvement considering how I'd previously had mayo-laden buns, but know I am still in need of portion control training.

Overall though, feeling good that I'm at least taking steps to make changes!
