God bless you! I certainly do understand how you must miss your beloved Dad - I miss my cherished Dad, too.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, my SP Friend!

Beautiful sentiment - some of our loved ones may be gone, but they live forever in our hearts!!!

    What a beautiful poem!

I feel so utterly blessed that I still have my parents, but @ 83 & 85 I know each day is a bonus day. I never let an opportunity slip by without letting them know I love & appreciate them!

Happy birthday to your dad. And happy Thanksgiving.

HUGS!!!

Both my Parents are now gone. And it has been 11 years without my Mom, and 23 years without my Dad.
We can be thankful that we have the memories.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving! emoticon

I SO agree! My dad left me to be with the Lord in 1999 and I still miss him so bad!

This is so right on: "You never get over missing your Dad". Last night, down here in the states, they had a Presidential debate. Don't worry, I'm NOT gonna talk politics, it's against my personal policy!

BUT, four years back, my sister e-mailed me I should take a look at Mitt Romney... for this reason alone: he physically resembles our dad, who's been gone since 1999. Looking at him speak and gesture is one of those things that brings back memories of dad!

Bet you never expected THAT kind of response to a political debate! Have a great Spark-day! emoticon emoticon
