Wednesday successes.....weight loss and work!

Well it is Wednesday and I survived my doctor appointment. I get to go back to work full time, starting tomorrow! I did not even have to beg or anything. Apparently I looked as healthy as I feel. I should say I am back to "normal" for me. :) I went to water aerobics this morning, but left a little early so I could get to my appointment on time. That is the one regret I have about getting back to work....I can't go to morning water aerobics any more. I will just have to buckle down and get to the evening ones after work, which are only twice a week, so I can't miss one and make it up the next day. I weighed in at the doctor's office and I have lost 9 pounds. So the weight is coming off, but the nutrition still needs work. I really love that SparkPeople lets you track not only your calories, but your nutrients as well. I always knew I was ingesting way to much sodium, but now it jumps up and grabs me when I view my daily reports. The funny thing is, is that the food that is high in sodium now tastes salty to me. Apparently I have found enough low sodium food, so that my taste buds are adjusting to them. The same way with calcium and potassium. I must eat more foods with better nutrition, not just cut the calories. The other good thing is by getting to work a full eight hour day, I am also going back to an hour for lunch. Now I can eat more leisurely and enjoy the food more. Well, I seem to have run out of rambling, so bye for now. :)
