I've joined a gym.
I've wanted to try something new for a while and I finally made the plunge.
I still love zumba!
But sometimes I find that my zumba classes are late at night and i'd like to come home a little earlier so that I can wind down and not go to bed so late.
At this gym they have classes at 5:30 so I can be home around 7:00 instead of 8:30.
BUT. I don't know that i'll find something as great as zumba.
I did Bodyflow-I though it was cardio but it was a mixture of yoga-taichi-and something else,but I forget.
My oldest daughter came with me-she's been going for a while and is a pro.
I didn't like it and kept looking at the clock.
Tonight, I tried bodyPump-it's a workout with weights where you work out all of your muscle group.
I loved it but I went too low on my weights and I did not even break a sweat-my daughter said I cheated.
Just wanted to get the feel of things and not die with too many weights.
Don't get me wrong-I will be feeling muscles that I have not felt for a while tomorrow.
There's another class called BodyCombat but I will have to wait till Monday to try it.
There's also RPM and FitRide-spinning classes-that I still have to try.
I'm going to do them all and decide if I want to stay at the gym or not -I have a week free,no obligation to join.
If I say so myself-I am not in that bad of shape because i followed in the class-squats and push-ups and abs(that one I missed a few
) without having to sit anything out.
Yay Zumba for getting me in shape.
