Wednesday, October 03, 2012

I know I need to get serious about this.... i feel terrible about myself. Why can't i make myself do better? emoticon I have great intentions at the start of the day but it goes downhill fast!! I went shopping for Halloween and got REALLY disgusted REALLY fast. I have determined that i am toooo fat for Halloween costumes. OK im going to start this over and do better this time!!! I need somebody to do this with me. Is there anybody out there from the Jackson MS area or surrounding areas? emoticon

Hi I know how you feel. I have a weakness for candy, however I still eat it but I limit the quantity to about a 1/2 serving. I now will grab maybe 2 pieces (bite size). I also make sure I add it to my tracker. This seems to keep me in perspective. I'm sorry I don't live in jackson MS. I hope you find someone soon. You can add me as a friend and we can communicate that way. Good Luck I know you can do it, emoticon

    Hi,
I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling bad about yourself. This may seem off the wall, but have you ever heard of the book "The End of Overeating" by Dr. David Kessler? Reading it really gave me some insight into willpower and why strong, smart people don't seem to have any. (I was so moved I developed a seminar called It's Not You, It's the Cookie.) Reading it also gave me the motivation I really needed to kick the junk food habit--after reading that book I have ZERO desire for candy, cookies and other junk food. Maybe it will help. Good luck; I hope you find someone in Jackson who can support you.
