I've been catching up on my blog reading the past couple of days and have found myself reading alot about what 'number' people are at and how they feel about said number. It hit me that people feel very differently about a number.

For example- I read one blog where the writer was quite excited to be in the 180s. My thought- ugh, why would anyone be excited about being in the 180s. I've been stuck here for ages! And then I read another blog where the person was STARTING their weight loss journey at 150. My thought here: I would LOVE to be in the 150s! So it just goes to show that we all are affected differently by a silly number. Yeah, I said it- numbers are silly. Unfortuately, they are the only thing we have to measure by in some form or another; be it a size, weight, inches, etc.

So don't let yours or anyone elses number get you upset. Just keep working on making yours go down emoticon

    I am with you Nay. I get down on myself when I see other people freaking out at their 135 pounds and they didn't lose anything for the week...and I'm praying they never look at my page. Embarassing, what would they think? "Thank gawd I'm not that girl..."
UGH, I'd love to get past it, and focus on my NSV and my own number.

Good idea, I think I will do what Ellis said. I want to lose 1/5 (for now)

    Wow, this was awesome! I know I so often get caught up in the numbers when I really should just be focusing on how healthy I can be!

    Lol, I get that! Here's me, "If you ONLY weigh, 150, WHY are you trying to lose weight?" Yep, I guess those numbers mean different thing to different people.
