I began my journey with SparkPeople in January 2011. I had a fair amount of success- losing close to 20 lbs, but by the end of the year, I had abandoned most of the principles that helped me lose the weight. I was back up to 168 lbs! So, here I am again. This is not my first time losing weight and then gaining it back. It's almost like it's a cycle that's doomed to happen. But I want to break that cycle.
I started over at the end of August and it's almost like I am learning everything all over again. This time, I plan on losing the weight for good. Who wants to keep losing weight only to gain it back all over again? I need to remember the tools that helped me lose the weight as well as the setbacks that made me regain the weight. I am committed to doing whatever it takes for me to be healthy and confident.
