My inner Goddess is getting a much needed rest

You can only go at 120% for so long and something has to give. I have been running from one thing to the next as I watched everyone around me dropping like flies from this cold or that flu. I have happily avoided it until.......
I started to feel that firs hit of being sick (hot behind the eyeballs) and decided to pack my bag, leave work and head home.
Normally I view a cold or the flu as a weight loss opportunity but I have planned to go camping this weekend up in the mountains and REALLY want to go.
I got some emergent-C and have been in bed all afternoon.
Any other suggestions besides letting the fickled finger of fate decide? emoticon

    Thera-Flu has always worked well for me, and I know some who swear by Airborne. Whatever you do, I hope you feel better soon and are able to go on your camping trip as planned! emoticon You still have several days before then to rest up and get better! Take care of yourself! emoticon

    Steam it out!! If you have access to a steam room at the gym, that would be ideal. But if not, then boil a large pot of water and put a towel over your head.

This has always worked to "move it along" for me!
