Goals for this week.

I haven't been on much lately due to general blah-ness, husband having four days off and we were busy around the house, and then more general blah-ness. I've been thinking of all my Sparkfriends and hoping you are all doing well! I don't respond to comments left on my blog often enough, but I want you all to know I appreciate you so, so much!
There. That was one of my goals and I didn't even realise it. :)
I need to be better and more honest about tracking food. Today I began actually measuring rather than estimating.
I finally gave in and made an appointment with the doctor to get the anti-vertigo medication for my ear problem. I've had dizziness the past four days, yesterday was worst of all. So it's time. The medicine is sort of scary (as it was originally developed as an anti-psychotic) but for the days when I can't just sit on the couch and not move, I need it. Pharmacist yesterday said nothing OTC will help the vertigo that arises from Menieres' and she shooed me off to my doctor. I shooed. I go tomorrow at noon.
The medication will help towards this next goal: walk more often. I've become a sluggard lately and those long, slow walks are really nice.
Hopefully Friday I'll be well enough to take the son and step-daughter to Sydney on the train. We'll do the multi-cultural thing, shop for s.-daughters' formal dress, and look at different sights than the same old thing at home. :)
