A good video shot by a competitor at the event that I did:
I have some pics I can share from my epic adventure, known as Tough Mudder. "Probably the toughest event on the planet".
Before starting out, My friend Mike and I looking confident.
Straddling one of the "Berlin Walls".
Low crawling under barbed wire, "Kiss of Mud"
Traversing the "Mud Mile". Several mud filled ditches with slick, muddy mounds between them.
"Mud Mile" aftermath. (Mud Mile was actually about 50 yards)
Random people coming through "Electro Shock Therapy". Hanging wires with 10,000 volts of electricity in them. It was dark when I get here, but my son got pics of others going through it. By the way, when it hits you, you really know it, some people get knocked out!
The after picture.
Our new friends, Juan and Shannon. Both Navy corpsmen in their early 20's. She did the Mudder barefoot, and a few times when the path became too rocky or thorny, Juan would put her on his back and carry her. Truly, these 2 were beasts out there, but they were also kind and friendly.
