So I ran yesterday

I ran at the gym yesterday and had a pretty nice run too. I'm getting good at pushing when I think I can push and backing off when I need to. Starting the run I go at 4.8 mph...then by near the middle I try to push to 5.0 mph...then I back off to 4.8 mph if I need to. By the last run segment, I decided I could do it and pushed up the pace to 5.5 happy, so exhilarating!!! Then, although I usually run/walk for 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm up and a 5 minute cool down, I ran AGAIN after the 5.5 mph at 5.2 mph. I not only stretched my workout out another 3 minutes but also PUSHED!!! I was very pleased emoticon emoticon
