So I seem to be spending WAY too much time on the internet these last two weeks -- something I'm going to need to figure out how to back off on, and still get all the good SP info and activities in pretty soon here.
Decided to take today off from my morning hike routine -- and instead did the first part of the couch to 5k running program, week one. I've tried this a couple times in the past, but never really got past the third week. The week one program tonight wasn't too difficult. I've seen a lot of people's blogs that discuss how one day they discovered running and how that really helped to take the weight off. I've never really been a runner, although I've gone through periods of trying before for a month or two. Last time bad shin splints made me need to stop.
Anyway.. figured that I could try mixing up the C2K program into my cardio program for some variety and cross-training. So. One day down of the first week.
Alright -- I've got lots to do tomorrow, so my big goal for tomorrow besides tracking and exercising, is to get up early, get organized and get going.

I started reading The Spark -- and have been posting a blog for each chapter in there so far. I guess when I get to part 2, there is a 28 day program -- so if I time it right, I should be ready to start the 28 day program right about the time I am finishing up with my own 30 day challenge. The daily blogging/goal posting has been great for me and my program thus far!
