New Month....New Goals

So OK. A week or so ago I vowed to forget the scale (well not entirely) and concentrate on measurements. So what happens....I lost 3 lbs this week! Go figure!! Anyway...still focusing on those measurements and of course the starting point is by actually taking my measurements -- always a slightly traumatic event. LOL BUT thanks to a recommendation from a friend who chall remain GetStrongrrr, much easier this time. He recomended something called Myotape.



This made taking the measurements a breeze! Just loop the tape, push the button and bingo! Accurate measurements. LOVE IT!!! So now I have a starting point.

Today I took two long walks...one thru central park in the morning and one tonight around a nice quiet neighborhood without a lot of traffic (I know, an oxymoron in NYC, but everything is relative). Also did some HIIT on the bike and some bodyweight ST. I am SO loving this tribesports site. Challenges galore -- from one offs to do X for a week, to 2 weeks to an entire month. One of the challenges I've undertaken is to bike around the coatline of Ireland (3,171.20kms) I may be doing this for the rest of my natural life. LOL It's great fun. And I'm having a blast!
