Slow Down

I've been having fun finding the appropriate Beatles song for my blogs emoticon

Today was about slowing down. Not in many ways, really. Just in movement. It is something that, unless you want to get injured again, you have to do after a race. I've been injured, and don't want to be again. So I had to slow down today.

I still packed up lunches, put out recycles, hung laundry, walked the dog, etc. etc. All that 'to do' stuff that is just a part of what has to be done. But I did not do 'purposeful' exercise. Unless you count massage? Yeah baby! I went for a heated massage tonight. It was nice. Ended with Bio Freeze. Party time. Woo hoo! emoticon

I did have a chance to talk to the massage therapist about the scar from my skin surgery that has really bummed me for months. So I signed up to go at least once a month to work on that problem.
