Whatchoo talkin' 'bout Willis?!

Okay, I've been here for almost a month. I have been exercising and staying within my nutrition goals. I went from couch potato to track diva in a month and I have been gaining weight!? I just don't understand how this could be. My clothes don't fit me any differently. So I am supposing it is muscle gain? Don't worry, I'm not giving up. I just hope the scale starts going the other way.

    When we start using muscles we haven't moved before, or push our muscles further than we have in the past (such as weight training, etc), there *will* be a temporary weight gain of a few pounds because those areas become mildly inflamed and as such hold water. Plus it is normal for weight to fluctuate by as much as 5 pounds from day to day, or even within the same day. It is not a cause for alarm, generally, unless it becomes an on-going trend of weight gain over a few weeks.
