100 lbs. In 300 Days - Day Seven

Monday, October 01, 2012

Day Seven was a change of pace for me. I got up and made biscuits and gravy and bacon for my family. I ate that with them and had some orange juice to drink. Then, I realized my son, who had spent the night with my parents had forgotten his winter coat and was heading back North that morning. I packed up his coat and some chili and pumpkin roll for him to take home with him. I went to my parents house and visited with them until my son and my dad left (for different destinations). Then it was just Mom and I in the house. That was pretty nice too. I spent the entire day snuggled up under a light blanket talking with Mom. I really needed that. My mom's house is lovely and comfortable. Her words are always so soothing. It was majorly de-stressing. I felt so at peace. I can tell my mom anything. It was really nice. I think that it's important in the process of losing a lot of weight to have someone to talk to.

After I left my parents' house, I went to Batesville because my husband was home!!!! I picked him up at the truck yard and went home to pick up our daughter and we were off for the evening to my son's choir concert. It was a great show! The mixed show choir was my favorite. They danced beautifully!

Food followers: I had breakfast of biscuits and gravy and 3.5 strips of bacon, and a glass of orange juice. I skipped lunch because I was busy talking to mom. Then I had a cookie at the choir concert (peanut butter) and I came home and had a bowl of homemade macaroni and cheese for supper.

Peace and Love,
Lisa

Matt and his girlfriend, Lauren at the choir concert.

Yeah, I'm tracking my food and usually have very few calories left at the end of the day! I probably should be spacing it out better than I am, though. :) And thanks, I know I'm pretty lucky. I love my mom to pieces! And I wish I had a better picture. Those two kids have some of the most beautiful eyes I have EVER seen!

Just curious..are you tracking your food and eating enough?
I love the photo by the way! And, you are very lucky to have a Mom like that. :)

I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you! Sometimes we just have to "analyze" it (sorry Alfie lol). Glad your plan is working for you. Love you bunches.

It sounds like a lovely way to spend the day--talking with your mom!
