Is it starting over or picking up where I left off??

Sunday, September 30, 2012

If you've been on program and you've gained all your weight back, Have you failed? Are you starting over or picking up where you left off. It took eight months to gain 45 pounds. My plan was to see goal weight this year and I'm even further than when I began in January.

Had a baby......was tired all the time...stress eating...still tired all the time and the weight creeped up.....I lost all control.

So I have a goal in mind for October. I have a number goal I plan to write down to look at every day. I'm not going to publicly tell it but I know what number I want.

Here is my strategy.

More water, less sweet tea

Track calories

Move more, track exercise

4 blogs this month

Log into SP coach every day

At least one vlog (My first one ever)

My goal:

My first pair of TOMS

Before Weight: 249

Before Pics

Ok!!! Here we go!

I have seen this quote a lot lately, If you are tired of starting over, stop giving up. It doesn't sound like you actually gave up so you are just picking up where you left off. Weight gain is a sorry side effect of losing. Its one of the statistics. The key is to make your lifestyle changes and stick to them. Its so hard when you have a little one, but now you can add back those lifestyle changes with him in mind. You have done it before, you can do it again!

You could never be a failure!! You have had more important things to be concerned with than losing weight. Being a mom is the most important job you will ever do. I'm glad you are at a point in that journey where you have some time for yourself again.

You only fail if you quit trying. Having a plan is taking a step toward success. I also eat when I'm tired, and I've used that knowledge. Before I eat, especially at night, I ask myself "Am I hungry, or tired?".
