OK update on my push...

Thank you to everyone who pushed me...but now I have to stop... pushing.

My physical therapist wants me to stop all exercise until we can get my ankle stronger...ugh!

I have 12 visits over the next three weeks - so my goal is work hard and get stronger so I can get back into control over my pain and be able to walk and exercise.

thank you for your support and encouragement - I am NOT going anywhere - cuz I still gotta eat healthy and be motivated - I lost 17 pounds and I do not want to find it back..

    I appreciate the encouragement for chair exercises, but due to the ankle disability and the "cramps" that are happening, all we are working on right now is a simple stretch. Every time I try to stretch out my foot I have a gripping cramp like a charlie horse in the ankle tendon.

    Good thing to give the ankle a rest until you find out what's going on. But you are right, you can still eat the best foods to give your body optimal nutrition for both your weight AND your healing! And I would think you could do some chair exercises like others have mentioned... upper body, core, maybe even legs as long as you are putting NO pressure on your ankle? Never give up, never surrender! :)

    Good for you on the 17 pounds! But definitely follow the therapists advice. You certainly don't want your ankle problem to linger on.
Hope you have a quick and easy recovery.

    You can do it, and from what i was reading we could tell you were overdoing again. Its so hard to slow down sometimes, remember to take care of you so you will be Healthy. emoticon

    emoticon I hope that your ankle gets stronger soon so that you can resume physical activity. Until then, I'm sure you'll do a great job of eating healthy and giving your body the right amount of fuel and nutrients it needs. emoticon
