100 mile challenge

This month myself and a few friends are challenging ourselves to walk or run, or a combo of each for 100 miles. We actually started earlier in the week, so we have 5 weeks to get the miles in. It averages out to about 3 miles per day to make our goal. Some days I have less, but other days I have more. Yesterday a friend and I hiked for 7.6 miles and today we are going on another long walk.

I'll be doing lots of emoticon and emoticon . Anyone else care to join in? Not all of us picked 100 miles (some more and some less), so you can pick whatever distance you feel will challenge you.

    Thanks for starting the challenge for us, Carla! I'll have a couple of longer walks coming up, but 3 miles a day is good for me, and doable many days, even with the schedule crammed full. Some days I cover the distance in two segments due to time constraints, but it all adds up.

    Carla, I think that's great that you're doing the 100 mile challenge. I am working on getting in more steps in October than in September and just pushing myself to walk as much as I can. Good luck on your challenge! I know you can do it!!!
