Emily, I quoted your tapering capsule on the Galloway daily check, you said it well.
Tapering sucked. I had full blown taper madness, doubting my abilities, my readiness. Then came the day I feared more than anything

You now know just how deep you CAN dig to accomplish what you thought may be impossible. You gained so much mentally and emotionally in that one single experience. From that, you will grow so much and fulfill dreams and goals that you haven't thought of yet. That is priceless. I have already seen a HUGE change in the days that followed AF weekend.

Reach for the stars for they are within reach!

I'm so proud of you for accomplishing this. Honestly, I am actually tearing up a bit as I think of how hard you worked for that moment (well, not a moment, more like 5 hours), then to get flattened by a bug, and then to still stick with it all the way to the end. You inspire me.

Tough break being sick for your first marathon. But, you toughed it out and prevailed. Great job and thanks for all the pictures, too!!
