In a previous blog I admitted to being a good starter but a poor finisher.
I am making yet another good start , telling myself to Get My Act Together!
I assume that is from the days of variety shows on stage. I need to get my act together again in most aspects of my day to day living. Life us not all diet and exercises.
I am a good list maker, so my first stage must be list all the things I need or want to start or improve or finish! Then try to achieve one at a time. Some can be done in a day, others need long term commitment.
Every good act needs planning, practising, then performing. Telling myself to get my act together and get the show on the road. I do not think I am alone in what has to be done. So are you with me with your act .? Then we can be a GOAT. Getting OUR acts together! I am here waiting for all the acts to make up a programme.

    Good idea! Let's be stubborn GOATs! I started out so well, and then fell off the GOAT wagon during vacay and then having company visit for a week. Time to GOAT again and learn to stick with it.

    I make plans but allow things to skip line and take over. I think a list is a good place to start. this computer has been taking all my time today. Birthday wishes to answer....all day. emoticon

    What a great plan i tell my self that a lot so will be joining you by starting to make a list and then organizing it kinda like a bucket list only it has our must dos on it have a great a day and thanks for the idea emoticon emoticon

    Hi Ree, you sound so much like me. . .I lost to make lots of lists and write down things but also am the biggest procrastinator there is. I need to be a GOAT and just do it and I will finally get something productive done. Lists are only good if you make good use out of them and planning ahead is only good if we follow through. Take good Care.

    Make your list but think of it as a "BUCKET LIST". Things that you have to do to reach your goals, not just what you want to do. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    My problem is the same. Great starter, but. I'm setting short term goals so I'm always starting. So far it's working. I'm a constant GOAT. emoticon

    Hmm.... me too, at the moment, I'm starting and...... failing each day - I guess I am starting well each morning, so that's good news.
    Maybe today is the day when I can stick to my plan for the whole day

    We raise GOATS and they know when it's feed time but don't know when to stop ! A neighbor bought one off of us and put 50 lbs of feed out all at once and the goat ate till it died ! emoticon He won't buy anymore off of us . Saying that to say this i agree i need a plan and i do divide things into portions ect would love it if you would share some of the less private things on your list . Planning is the key ! emoticon
