Exercise motivators

Spark coach gave some really great tips today about what to do when you don't feel like exercising. (Coach Nicole's program) Here is a very brief synopsis;

3 for today:

1. Get dressed to exercise: put on your workout clothes
2. Put on some upbeat, motivational music to get you moving
3. Just do it--get started, even if it is just for 5 or 10 minutes

3 for the long haul

1. Schedule workouts like appointments and don't allow yourself to miss them
2. Reward yourself
3. Track your fitness minutes

I also liked the featured article today on using exercise to gain control of emotional eating (read replace emotional eating). I especially liked the idea of developing a list of comfort exercises/activities: Things that you really enjoy doing.
