This past week has been very disappointing for my bike riding. The weather has not cooperated very much (rain, thunderstorms, etc.). I am a meticulous planner who works hard at staying "on the plan". This weekend I was to measure my fitness and my new bike by doing some timed tests at 5K, 10K, 20K, and 40K. Well, the 10K and 20K were to be done today. However, due to rains and thunderstorms, they are out of the question. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be saved. Anyway, I will keep my fingers crossed. If it's not possible, it'll be back to the planning drawing board. I'm trying to both, prepare for the 115-mile Tour de Tucson and also the 2013 Senior Games. One is endurance and the other is speed. One I hope to finish and the other I hope to Podium. Bottom line: War is Hell and I'm in the Trenches". HOOAAA!! BTW, I'm still seeking Excellence.

Sometimes weather is a bummer. Hopefully you were able to still get out there and enjoy some time in the saddle.

Sounds so much like the last few weeks here and my riding has been restricted to the cycleops. Hope the wx improves and you get your training and the chance to prove your new ride. Keep reaching. Hoooah!
