Just a quick blog to share my sorrow with my friends. On September 25th, I lost another cousin to cancer. I have to say that I am glad that I did get to spend a few hours with him on August 27th, his 69th birthday, while he was in the emergency room. Sadly, he didn't really know me most of the time because the medication he was on for his chemo caused him to be delusional. I next spent a little time with him after our Massachusetts Spark Rally, when he was back in the hospital. He was always helping others out whenever he could. When my Dad crossed over, 17 years ago, my Dad's elderly cousin from Canada wanted to come to the funeral, so my cousin Armand paid for his trip. He shall be greatly missed, along with the rest of his family.
L to R: Jeannette, left in 1983 at 42 yrs; Therese, left in 2009 at age 62; my Aunt Alice, left in 1976 at age 55; my Uncle Existe, left in 1995 at age 74; Armand, left in 2012 at age 69. They are now all gone.
RIP my dear cousin.
But, what else is making me really sad is that 13 years ago, my beautiful Ginger, the love of my life, crossed over and I'm still struggling with that loss.
RIP my beautiful girl.
I'm sorry, for writing such a downer of a blog, but I just needed to share with my friends. I know in due time, I'll be fine once again.
Thanks for always being there. You can't imagine how very special you all are to me.
