Today is the first day of the rest of your Life

Friday, September 28, 2012

I am a firm believer in this saying. You have to put aside what happened in the past and start each day anew.

I almost got more exercise in today Jerry and I were just putting our jackets on to go for another walk when we noticed the rain hitting the lake. I don't walk in the rain, the dark and the cold. It is in the 50's and on the way down. I don't mind walking in one or the other but not all three together.

This is my last vacation day and I finally finished knitting my first pair of socks. Now I am starting a chemo hat for my sister Mary. So I guess I am still on vacation because I have lots of knitting to do.

I will keep on keeping on.

Making your own rules is one of the good parts of being a grown up! I am with you on those limitations- and I'm glad you got more knitting done. I'm sure your sister will love wearing a hat made with love.
