I didn't realize how long it's been since my last blog...or my last sign in to sparkpeople. Yikes! So I've gotten back on track and gotten off track...and back on. I did start this Eat Stop Eat program which incorporates fasting and it works for me. The weight loss is slow, but it's happening. I do need to get myself in check with my eating habits because they're horrible. I'm embarrassed to say what they entail. I know I just need to take it baby steps at a time right now and not overwhelm myself. For right now, just work on tracking my food again. Get in that habit as well as cooking and making meals for myself at home. I have spurts where I'll plan out weekly menus for several weeks, then I'll get off track and eat out (because of convenience and it tastes good) way too much.
I am on track for exercising. I started learning roller derby (well just skating for right now) and I'm addicted. This is honestly the first activity that I've started doing that I thoroughly enjoy and can't wait until the next practice. I'm already missing skating and we had a 2 hour practice last night. Yes, it's officially a drug now. Stay tuned for future blogs announcing my derby name.
