New Swimming Pool

It's been a long time coming, but, I finally have my pool. I love swimming. It has been a stressful time since the pool company has tried to screw us numerous times. So far, they put the steps in the wrong place along with the wrong steps, resulting in more cement for the patio to be put down in order to access the steps, and they want to charge us for the extra to correct their mistakes, I don't think so. One day they show me how to run the Auto Vac and then the next day they come into my backyard and take it away saying it was not included. I told them to read the contract and it clearly states that it is included, so they returned it. Somehow, they were reading the wrong dated estimate, duh. Needless to say, it has been one screwup after another, and now they up the price saying we owe them an extra $1500. How do they justify this, by some scribbles on a notepad. REALLY????? Do I look that stupid to fall for that. I just mailed them the last payment which was clearly marked on the contract (not including their extra $1500) and put final payment as / contract. Needless to say, they told us they are not, in fact, honouring the contract and coming back to close the pool nor to open it in the spring |(which is included in the contract). They left our backyard a total mess and we are having to bring in another Landscaping Company to finish it also another Pool Company to close it after Thanksgiving.
At least I am having the pleasure of using it. It is warmer in the pool than it is outside. I live in Canada and right now it is in the low 70s and the temp for the pool is 82 degrees. Heaven just heaven, but getting out is chilly, lol, so that's the running I am doing. Like running in the house after getting out of the pool, brrrr. I am going to enjoy this pool for as long as possible, considering all the trouble it has caused it. Hopefully, the spring will be a new time and a new appreciation for it (after the dust has settled with the Pool Company). Until next time, gotta go to take my walk then jump in the pool to cool off. Bye for now.
