My saboteurs'

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

My hardest saboteur is a person that I love very much, my husband. He can eat as much or anything that he wants. It is very difficult for me.
My second saboteur is my boss. He brings snacks in every Friday that are unhealthy. My desk has a direct view of the table. I have asked him to also bring healthy things, but no one else wants the good stuff.
The third is a co-worker. He likes to bring in snacks to reward the staff. I think it makes him feel good also. I have asked him to cut back and he is.
Now - all it takes it stress to tiredness to get me to cave in. I still have not completely figured out how to over come it. I am doing better at work, but still fall sometimes.
Now for the hardest - my husband. I do not like chips so if he would eat those every night I would be on "easy street". It is the peanuts, liquorice, or bugles that get me. emoticon

We do pretty good at home, but there is a lot of fast food and temptation at work, it makes it even worse that they started ordering thin crust pizza for me because I always turned them down on pizza in the past because of the calories. Now I feel guilty for not indulging

Stay strong.

I feel your pain. My dear husband knows ALL the bad foods I like and will sometimes "reward" me with them from the store. Hate that!!! He has gotten a lot better over time. My tastes and habits have changed over time which helps more than anything. emoticon emoticon emoticon
