I don't have a scale at home at the moment so to weigh myself I walk as fast as I can during my lunch hour to Bed Bath and Beyond which is 6 loooong blocks away from my job... It generally takes me 20 minutes to make it back and forth and another 7 minutes to get to the back of the store where the scales are... So yes I was able to fit that into my 30 min power walks that I take during my lunch breaks every day.
Anyway, you can probably guess where I am headed with the disappointment - yup I gained 2 lbs. (at least I think I did anyway) I must remember that this is a demo scale and that I am weighing myself on a carpet with different type of clothes on each time I go so it will vary a lot. But still... I know that I haven't lost anything this week because I feel bloated (thanks to the pms - take out the "p" though) and because I totally fudged up this weekend. But hey I am still focused on using this website, I know it works, its me that is messing up and this site teaches me exactly how I am doing it wrong...
But tonight is ZUMBA night! I can't wait to get back there and have that wonderful glow that I experienced last week! I mean I do try to do some form of light cardio (walking during my commute and during my lunch break) but I don't really break a sweat, I only elevate my heart rate a little and I don't feel particularly "happy" like I do after I do zumba.
I love the fact that I am really doing something for myself, its something that I should've done a long time ago!
