So I've been down this road before... and this will never go away... but it is time to lose weight again. I used MyFoodDiary a few years back to lose 80-90lbs, but gained about 40-50 back. So, it's time to lose some weight again because I want to be comfortable and energetic... and a big BIG goal for me is to do the Dirty Girl Mud Run and the Color Run. Both are noncompetitive and for all fitness levels, but right now, I just don't have a fitness level. I want to be able to at least jog a 5k before I sign up for one... and to do that, I not only need to learn how to run and jog, but I need to lose weight.
So far, I'm impressed with my discipline. I lost over 2lbs this week, and I even went out and drink a hefty amount of beer on Saturday at a concert! Ironically, I attribute all this success to my own laziness: I will actually skip eating something if I don't feel like entering it in the diary. hahaha. Only me! Well, here's to 35 more pounds off! Do you think I can lose 10 (or a jeans size) by Turkey Day? Wow! That'd be cool!
