How a Wrong Can Turn into a Right

Just a short blog to share what I did last night while creating the flower ATCs for my Aunt.
I was busy messing up one of the flower ATCs, and wasn't at all pleased with it. Then I thought to add glitter glue in silver and a brownish violet, and now I love it!
Just that one simple act brought what I consider a mess to a new beautiful light. Just think of what we can do if we apply that same philosophy to sparking and achieving our goals!
I never thought that what I am learning while doing art would immediately translate to other lessons in my life. What a refreshing lesson! Not all lessons have to come the hard way.
By the way, I don't buy a lot of stuff either. I just try to stick with neutrals (inks, glitter glue, etc.) that will go with practically anything. I am sure to find glitter on everything, me, my doggies--lol! I will be the glitter girl.
Heck you don't have to be an artist to do an ATC. That is the true joy, just feel free to create something. So far, I mainly do collage and rubber stamping-easy peasy. I experience a joyful freedom in creating something, and having spent 20+ years in a very analytical profession (my disability retired me I little early-lol!), I am pleased to explore this side of myself.
One day you'll say to yourself, Heck, did I do that?! That's beautiful!
Before you know it, you are a true artist in whatever you pursue!
