Truely! It has been a long time since I was actually hungry. I woke up this morning as usual, got into the shower and realized that I was hungry. I had forgotten what that felt like.
I'm not sure how to put this into words, but usually I ate because there was food around. I ate because of foods availablility, out of boredom, emotional eating, etc. I even ate food when I was full, just to have something to do to keep me awake in the afternoon. But is has been a long time since I ate something because I was actually hungry.
This is just the first step of many on my journey to get back on track. And even though it has been just a few days, it is getting easier each day.
So breakfast was a yogurt, cheese stick, and a lite english muffin with a little bit of pear butter. Was still a little hungry so I added a few celery sticks with a quick dip of peanut butter on it.
Now, I'm no longer hungry.
