Mini goals

I set mini goals to keep me going on rough days. My first was to see the scale under 200 lbs, it may not sound like much but I haven't been under 200 in many years. My second mini goal was to fit into a size 16 jeans. I bought my jean capris at Target (size 18) awhile back and the waist is too big but I didn't know if it was really that I had lost weight or they stretched that much. Today I was in Target checking something for my niece and decided to grab a couple pairs of size 16 to see if I was close to fitting in them or not. Well I'm more than close, I could pull them up without any problems and zip them without trying to suck it all in, yay! I'm not buying any new clothes until I absolutely have to but I walked out of the dressing room standing just a little bit taller than when I entered.

When I started this journey I set my weight goal so there could be less of "me" when I go visit my family in Utah for Christmas. I know I can get to my goal just taking it one day at a time. I'm going to start putting away my change so I can buy a new pair or two of jeans for the trip. I don't know what size I'll be by then but I know I'll be smaller than I am right now.
