I have to major hurdles when it comes to my diet and nutrition.
First one is that I don't always have the time to prepare and cook meals. I have gotten better about prepping meals and freezing them, but I can't always do that either. So I read the little artical:
and have decided that I just have to set aside time to prepare not only whole meals, but healthy snacks too.
My plan will be to:
clean and chop veggies as soon as I get them home.
make some healthy sweets, so that I can eat something sweet if I feel the need.
keep making meals ahead of time as much as possible.
My other hurdle is that sometimes I don't eat enough. I find it hard to get enough calories from the foods that I should be eating, so I read this article:
My plan to help me with this is to:
Switch to 2% milk instead of skim(when I do drink/use milk).
Add more nuts to meals.
Eat some larger portions of meats and other protiens (eggs, beans, tofu).
Both of these articles will come together in my meal and snack planning to increase my healthy calorie intake!
