The "program" almost one year later...

I couldn't be more thrilled with this program! Since starting SparkPeople (just a few days shy of one year) I am now 81 pounds lighter and, being a 52 year old woman, never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be possible. My attitude about food, myself and life in general has changed drastically. I take joy in the daily small changes that have made such a difference.

In reading a few blogs, some people are disappointed with a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week. Well, let me tell you, that one pound loss adds up to 52 pounds in the course of a year. Rejoice in that and stick with it!

    Wow! I just stumbled upon your blog. It caught my eye because I am celebrating my one year anniversary too! This sight has been an inspiration to me and a tool that I value to the point that I tell others to join! You are a woman my age that just described what my journey has lead to.
